Years after COVID I am excited to announce the re-launch of the Smiths Falls Youth Fishing Club. Re-launching it to be even better and more informative and fun for the young anglers that want to take the next steps from dunking worms and a bobber to learning more about the sport of fishing and other fishing techniques. What is Fish Camp/School? Fish camp is the next level of fishing for a young angler that may not have the advantages of coming from a fishing family. Fish camp is where we taking fishing from shore with dew worms to showing your young angler how to tie different knots. How to use a bait casting reel, different hooks and what technique are they used for. Stuff that unless you fish with an experienced angler your young angler may never learn. It is a natural progression from our Annual Spring fishing tournament to the Angler/Young Angler Series. It might even get them interested in tournament fishing or becoming a professional guide.

A 4 week event, a couple of hours a day, 1 day a week your young angler will be instructed by both tournament angler and professional fishing guide the ins and outs of fishing and how to be a successful angler. Allowing them to enjoy the outdoors and all that it has to offer.
