Inaugural Peter Larmand Outdoors Angler/Young Angler Tournament

After canceling the previous year, we were finally able to hold the Inaugural Angler/ Young Angler Bass Tournament. 10 young anglers and their parents/guardian joined the 10 boaters for a morning fishing action. We got everyone launched and fishing shortly after 8 am. 3 fish limits. The Angler/Young Anglers went to work.

Congrats to our winners (Angler and Young Angler): 

1^St place with 10.79 lbs are Luean and Ben

2^nd place with 9.12 lbs are John and Johnny

3^rd place with 8.69 lbs are Tim and Brysen

Thank you to the parents/guardians who were out in the boats in the heat.

Also, what to thank the Anglers for taking the time to take out the next generation and answering all their questions and showing them a thing or two.

I also want to send a special thanks to Shawna, Rob and Randy for helping with the Anglers weigh in and taking me out to get some on the water footage.

With such positive feedback we are holding a fall bass event on September 21at W.A Taylor Conservation area on the Rideau River, between Kemptville and Manotick. The fall bass edition, where we are hoping that the larger bass are feeding and get ready for the cold weather season approaching.
