18th Annual Peter Larmand Outdoors Kids Fishing Tournament
The weather held off and there were a lot of smiling faces. 64 young anglers were out and put a beat down on those fish. I noticed that there were a few pike, bass and plenty of sunfish (bluegill an pumpkinseed) caught. Congrats to all the anglers everyone walked away with prizes. Congrats to the top 3 in the 4 age groups who also walked away with medals and the young angler that caught the most fish walking away with the trophy for the most fish caught. We are also happy to announce that all the fish caught were released so that they can be enjoyed by other anglers at another date.
Also, that day I announced a new tournament that I am super excited about. It’s the Inaugural Peter Larmand Outdoors Angler/Young Angler bass tournament. This event will be held on Sunday June 23rd, 2024, out on Rideau Ferry. This is something that I have always wanted to host and get kids involved in now fishing from a boat.
