For 19 years and counting, we have been hosting a well attended youth fishing tournament. We hold the event at Lower Reach Park in Smiths Falls, ON on the last Saturday in May. We divide the young anglers into age groups: 5 and under, 6-8, 9-12, 13 and up. Top 3 in each age group will receive a medal and the angler that catches the most fish will also win a trophy. Each registered angler will receive a prize whether they catch fish or not. Each registered participant also receives lunch.
